Through expert guidance, interactive learning, and a supportive community, we’re here to help every learner unlock their full potential, one move at a time.

Officers from the multiple-time award-winning chess team at Arizona College Prep took the initiative to create the AZ Chess Gurus Organization in 2024. Motivated by their shared passion for the game and a desire to give back to the community, they envisioned a platform that would make chess accessible, engaging, and meaningful for students of all ages and backgrounds. Drawing on their experience in competitive play, leadership, and mentorship, the co-founders launched the organization to promote critical thinking, strategic learning, and a lasting love for chess across Arizona and beyond.
